ACCIDENT INVESTIGATIONS AND/OR
RECONSTRUCTION
Having conducted a combined total
of 3000 accident investigations,
while a law enforcement officer in the 5th largest city of the U.S. and as
President of Regional Investigations, Inc. It is my firm belief that anyone
involved in an accident should have an independent investigation conducted
whether it is a
Class "A" accident involving
fatal injuries Class "B"
accident involving incapacitating injuries Class "C" accident reported or
attended by the police.
Injuries, no matter how slight,
sustained during a vehicle impact with another vehicle or object can be long
lasting and show up years later causing health problems.
 As an experienced
independent accident investigator, our course of action has changed the outcome
of many court and civil proceedings. It is imperative that the victim or victims
family THINK, before acting.
Traffic accident information can be divided into two major
categories
 | Those who want minimum basic
information about all or most of the accident. |
| Those who want a detailed
information about a single accident. |
An accident is investigated for a
number of reasons. Attorneys investigate traffic accidents on behalf of clients
as they would any other kind of accident with the basis for this investigation
to compensate a victim for losses suffered as a result of the accident. Claims
and Police investigators conduct accident investigations as required in
accordance to procedures outlined by their agencies.
Regional Investigations, Inc. will conduct an independent investigation for the
victims of accidents which can become an asset to the accident CASE file thereby
protecting the rights of victims and their families. It is
imperative that an unbiased investigation be conducted whereby the facts WHO,
WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY and HOW are gathered giving a well defined overview of
what really happened.
For the seriously injured victim a "day in the life of a victim" can be
presented which introduces the hardships a seriously injured person experiences
in a 24 hour period and the impact on the family members. Regional
Investigations, Inc. is available to assist in any "day in the life of a victim"
request.
At the least, a thorough and concise photo/video record should be made of the
vehicles and accident scene. Witnesses should be interviewed as soon as possible
with signed statements and or authorized taped interviews made.
